:: Dramatic center medallion in diamond shaped contour with outwardly bursting oversized geometric stemmed floral design elements. At either opposing end of the medallion are finials with triple tiered asymmetric character atop a predominantly open field. Awesome unusual coloration throughout. Colors and shades include: Pale tangerine orange, ivory, antique ivory, silver, brilliant yet faded royal blue, mint green, turquoise, oxidized silver, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. A rug bearing unique contour, slightly more narrow at one end than the other, within normal margins for the type, age, and era. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug runner made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 2'7" x 5'5".
