:: 1920's Chuval. Sextuplet medallions with staggering intricacy of all subsequent borders. At the bottom of the canopy, layered lattice oriented rows of germinating flowers. A wide range of colors from blues, beige, sand and cranberry red. Overall good condition with many areas close to or at the knot heads. New selvage on either side. Softened tones to the face of the rug which are much more subtle and mellow as compared to those of the back. Approximate knot count is exceptionally high for this type: 24 vertical knots and 11-12 horizontal. Many years of enjoyment to come! Recently professionally cleaned, ready for in-home use! Size measures approximately 2'7" x 4'10".
