:: Covered field in a repeating boteh design motif arranged in staggered rows each bearing its own unique interior germinating plant. Main border in a repeating floral cross section atop an unusual aubergine ground border. Abrashes across. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, indigo blue, ivory, sky blue, aubergine, pink grapefruit, jade green, coffee brown, pale saffron yellow, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Localized areas of expert restoration to both ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Kurdish rug runner made in Kurdistan circa 1880's vintage. Size measures 3'8" x 11'4".
