3.5x4.5 Vintage Anatolian Square Rug

:: Center medallion with rococo stylized leaves enveloping the perimeter. Adorned at either end by minor finials atop an open abrashed field. Colors and shades include: Faded cherry red, dusty raspberry, gold, oxidized silver, beige, antique ivory, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Slight asymmetry in footprint with one end wider than the opposing with measurements of 3'2" as opposed to 3'5", within normal margins for type and age. Colors on the tips of the wool front more subdued with a soft patina and oxidation than those on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Anatolian square rug made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 3'5" x 4'7".
