:: Highly unusual design motif telling a story of schools of fish in a watery blue ground, each bearing inverted random coloration adding to great dynamic in a rainbow-like effect. Main border in alternating direction botehs strung together with thin vinery in a plethora of shades. Colors and shades include: Aqua blue, sky blue, denim blue, beige, tomato red, pale saffron yellow, aubergine, silver, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Caucasian rug made in the Caucasus region circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 3'7" x 5'8".
