:: Double center medallion with partial asymmetric weight and heavy abrash to the uppermost medallion (partially reciprocated in the lower inner!) atop a covered field of minor starburst floral design elements wrapped by a triple meandering vine and samovar design motif main border. Super unique, nuanced throughout with artistic merit and vivid gem like shades. Colors and shades include: Sapphire blue, emerald green, ruby red, brick red, ivory, dusty blush, pale gold, tangerine orange, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures 3'1" whereas the opposing measures 3'4". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type. Light etching of pile, likely due to since corrected moth nibbles. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 3'4" x 6'7".
