3.5x6.5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Diamond shaped center medallion with interior stepped minor bearing stemmed geometric blossoms and adorned by large scale finials at either opposing end atop an abrashed open ground with corner spandrel overlays reciprocating the contour of the main medallion with main border in a germinating blossom design rendering. Colors and shades include: Faded cherry red, ivory, saffron yellow, silver, platinum, beige, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple scattered areas of old, since treated, moth activity. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 3'4" x 6'7".
