:: Large center medallion with hooked and trident contoured relief wrapped on either opposing side by minor medallions in a Harshang arabesque design element atop a covered field of blossoms, birds, and partial Herati motif. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, deep copper, sapphire blue, ivory, celadon green, oxidized copper green, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Fully secured sides and ends. Scattered touchups throughout. Machine binding which appears to be applied in a reversible manner and likely overwrapping the original side cord selvages in part or full. Minor moth etching in addition to the worn areas. Possibly reduced to the perimeter. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Hamadan rug runner made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 3'2" x 6'6".
