:: Triple center medallion atop a larger horizontally oblong diamond shaped medallions on a red ground. Excellent balance between positive and neutral spacing with octagonal guls with floral renditions in the interior. Zig zag chevron border adds rhythm and balance to the outer minor borders, which symbolize a reciprocating running wave motif. Excellent dynamic and coloration throughout.Colors and shades include: Cherry red, sky blue, light blue, oxidized copper green, bright blush, rose, charcoal brown black, and ivory. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across, isolated areas of foundation showing through. Fully secured sides, mostly secured ends with original macram 85% intact. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand woven the Caucasus region Caucasian Soumac rug made in circa 1930's vintage.
