:: Unusual design for type - Partial northwest Persian almost Serapi inspired design motif center medallion with stepped contour atop a covered field of intricate blossoms and interconnected floral buds. Corner spandrel overlays in a scrolling vine arabesque tendril. Gem like shades throughout. Colors and shades include: Ruby red, cherry red, sapphire blue, ivory, copper, pale rose, pale gold, pale coffee brown, navy blue, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Extensive expert restoration to ends and interior. Period correct painted rug. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Malayer rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 4'5" x 6'2".
