:: Main medallion with floral fills and scrolling blossoms and vines finished with cartouche finials atop an abrashed ground with book cover field overlay bearing scrolling arabesques. Pile is constituted of mercerized cotton which has the feel and appearance of silk, soft to the touch with high luster and sheen. Colors and shades include: Ivory, pale pink, dusty rose, silver, oxidized silver, pale mauve, coffee brown, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Kayseri rug made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 4' x 5'4".
