:: Tone on tone subtle design central medallion loosely defined by loosely serrated contour atop an open field with abrashes across, heavier on one end. Main border in a rhythmic chevron meandering vine paired with floral top views. Colors and shades include: Beige, cream, ivory, silver, slate blue, sea foam green, pale coffee brown, and more. Condition notes: Wear across to foundation and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Moderate edge rippling, since mostly corrected with an addendum belt sewn to the reverse side of the carpet. One end measures 4'11" whereas the opposing is 5'2", variation is to be expected for type and age. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 5'2" x 7'9".
