5.5x9 Vintage Distressed Oushak Carpet
Print tear sheet:: Stepped diamond shaped center medallion with double tiered finials at either opposing end. Corner spandrel overlays loosely reincorporating the contour of the main medallion. Heavy abrashes and change in dye lot throughout. Soft blanket like character with good durability. Colors and shades include: Cream, beige, antique ivory, pale mint green, pale coffee brown, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1970's vintage. Size measures 5'9" x 9'1".
