7.5x9.5 Vintage Oushak Carpet

:: Double oversized palmette on either end of a minor center quatrefoil main medallion atop a covered field of sprawling vines, scrolling leaves, and germinating plants in large scale rendering. Colors and shades include: Jade green, dusty rose, pink, blush, beige, cherry red, dark raspberry red, antique ivory, powder blue, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Minor localized areas of re-piling, some faint oxidation and localized touch-ups. Some differential of more saturated shades on the reverse side compared to the patina on the face. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 7'9" x 9'3".
