:: Oversized geometric concentric center medallions with minor trefoil finials adorned at either end by oversize palmettes atop a covered field of vines, buds and blossoms. Main border in a meandering serrated leaf and floral top view design relief. Colors and shades include: Dusty brick red, terra cotta, platinum, silver, pale gold, dusty sage, pale slate blue and more. Condition notes: Large areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Light reduction to perimeter. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage.
