2.5x3.5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Diamond shaped center medallion with stepped contour bearing a large scale inner floral bouquet. Corner spandrel overlays loosely reciprocate the contour of the main medallion, bearing a staggered seed design motif in lattice orientation. Colorful oversized simplistic floral cross-sections in randomly alternating color fills adorn the main border. Colors and shades include: Rust, royal blue, silver, charcoal, saffron yellow, fuchsia, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 2'9" x 3'7".
