2.5x4 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Center floral bouquet in a prayer design motif with top prayer niche wrapped by serrated leaf main border in alternating inverted coloration. Colors and shades include: Pink, oxidized silver, antique ivory, silver, beige, and fuchsia. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Top of the carpet is narrower than the bottom portion by approximately three inches, approximately 2'5" x 4'. Minor loss to one end border since secured with overcast stitch. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 2'8" x 4'.
