3x5.5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Shield stylized center medallion with central floral bouquet in sharp serrated lightening contour. Corner spandrel overlays reciprocate the contour of the main medallion. Main border in a simplistic meandering vine and blossom geometric design motif. Colors and shades include: Saffron yellow, faded turquoise green, faded royal blue, ivory, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Minor reduction of two rows to one end. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 2'10" x 5'7".
