3x5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Prayer design motif with covered fields and panels of germinating plants and starburst floral design elements. Inner and outer minor borders in a meandering vine design motif. Colors and shades include: Beige, sandalwood, ivory, antique ivory, chocolate brown, coffee brown, silver, faded tangerine orange, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Localized areas of expert restoration. One end measures slightly more narrow than the other at 2'9" as opposed to 3', within normal margins for the type and age. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 3' x 4'10".
