:: Diamond shaped center medallion with hook and latch relief adorned at either end by mirrored geometric medallions with geometric blossoms stemming therefrom. Interior field overlay in a reciprocating pawn design motif. Tons of color and range throughout in a very fine weaving. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, cobalt blue, dusty teal, mallard green, ivory, chestnut brown, rust, dusty rose, pale saffron yellow, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Tatter to sides and ends. One or two minor mends to the interior with hard tatter and loss to all sides. Some light areas of discoloration. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Karaja square rug made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 3'6" x 4'.
