:: Antique handmade African snake cuff bracelet. Exceptional antique circa first quarter 20th century, though possibly older, bracelet. Thought to be worn in order to protect the wearer from snake bites, though also given as part of a Dowry as a form of currency and to symbolize fertility in the new marriage. This piece is a unique collectible, with great craftsmanship having gone into its creation! As this item is antique, it may show signs of use, age, and/or oxidation. Size Measures: 0.5" x 3" x 3" with an interior dimension of 2.25" while the opening measures 1.25".
