Vintage African Bronze Casting of Pangolin
:: Vintage circa mid 20th century African bronze or brass casting sculpture of a pangolin (we believe) which is an endangered animal that are often called a “scaly anteaters” and are covered in tough, overlapping scales. They have an incredibly long sticky tongue and are able to quickly roll themselves up into a tight ball when they feel threatened. Very well made! Ashanti gold weights are also named Mbramoo and this may be an example of an Ashanti gold weight, used in the measuring of gold and gold dust. As this item is in vintage condition, it may show signs of age and use. Kindly note the item photographed may not necessarily be an identical to that which you receive. This listing is for a one of a kind handmade item, however, we do have multiples which are being sold under one parent listing.
