Multi medallion design with classic Harshang design motif of finned blossoms, scrolling palmette finishes, germinating plants, and delicate vinery. Nuanced unique artistic merit imparted throughout with asymmetric and wonderful abrashes. In a rare size of unusual proportions, special for its age and type in a very fine weave. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, madder root red, powder blue, cherry red, saffron yellow, emerald green, coffee brown, chestnut brown, copper, teal, lime green, ivory, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Tatter to sides and ends. Machine finished edges and/or ends. In original condition showing tatter and losses to edges and ends in one corner, only repairs that appear over time seem to be one side cord selvage in a newer wrap. Excellent candidate for restoration, wall hanging, or a low traffic in-view area of the home. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
