Double center medallion in unique contour and design, one in a starburst formation, and the other in a potted plant germinating plant interior fill bearing a hook and latch motif. Main border in a meandering vine blossom design motif, with outer selvage finished in polychromatic coloration with each shade similarly found in the main weaving. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, powder blue, copper, pale coffee brown, pale olive green, sapphire blue, dusty terracotta, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Side cord selvages and outer borders fully restored, likely a fragment of a rug originally in larger scale and proportions. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz rug mat made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 1'8" x 2'9".
