:: Extremely detailed repeating multi-column and row gul medallions in a tight and fine weave. Amazing splendor in the design execution, known as the 'Bokhara' motif or 'elephant footprint' design (actually geometric floral designs) in the spirit yesteryear Tekke carpets. Plush, soft, silk-like pile. Superb quality, long-stapled wool with high sheen and luster adding to great dynamic and contrast from light and dark sides. Colors and shades include: Pale tangerine orange, cherry red, ivory, charcoal, and more. Condition notes: Even original pile height across. Original side cord selvages intact. Fully secured sides and ends. Fringe shows light tinting, discoloration, and a few strands missing. One area close to the outer striped border showing a dust marking to the tips of the wool. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Pakistani Bokhara design carpet made in Pakistan circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 10'2" x 14'2".
