12.5x19 Vintage Distressed Meshed Carpet

:: Roundel lace styled center medallion atop a covered field of intricate floral blossoms, scrolled leaves, and palmettes interconnected throughout. Main medallion features end finials partially reminiscent of that found in the twin Ardebil carpets as well as some minor medallions stemming from the main. Heavy abrash and change of dye lot on one end of the carpet, adding to the great dynamic and aesthetic. Colors and shades include: Dusty raspberry red, dusty powder blue, ivory, beige, seafoam green, pale coffee brown, dark chocolate, aubergine, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Meshed carpet made in Persia circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 12'4" x 18'9".
