:: Unusual allover covered field of unidirectional germinating floral cross-sections with finned design outlines. Main border in meandering serrated leaf and palmette design motif. Unusual ivory ground and vivid shades throughout. Colors and shades include: Antique ivory, powder blue, madder root red, terracotta, chocolate brown, dusty ruby red grapefruit, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Extensive expert restorations throughout. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Bakshaish carpet made in Persia circa 1895-1910 vintage. Size measures 10'10" x 13'6".
