:: Saddle cover with asymmetric top and bottom bearing weighted corner spandrel overlays in partial Herati format and central design motif of a horn shaped plain weave with minor blossoms and botehs reminiscent of birds. This piece would make for an awesome wall hanging, see us for details on hand sewn tabs for displaying. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, saffron yellow, ruby red grapefruit, aubergine, dusty teal, jade green, and more. Condition notes: Large areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides, mostly secure ends. Light darning and minor addendum repairs to one end middle and center area. Faux side cord selvages, more recently added. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Northwest Persian square rug made in Persia circa 1895-1910 vintage. Size measures 3'3" x 3'11".
