:: Concentric center medallions atop a covered field with classic book cover field overlays loosely reciprocating the contour of the main medallion. Inner and outer minor border in a meandering vine and blossom design motif. Main border in a palmette and floral cross view design element. Outermost border in a classic reciprocating pawn design motif. A very fine example. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, sandalwood, pale jade green, sapphire blue, indigo blue, dusty gold, powder blue, ivory and more. Condition notes: Like-new, original full pile height even across. Original side cord selvages intact. Fully secured sides and ends. Unusual caliber of like-new condition; virtually no evidence of any use other than two or three minor old moth nibbles. Original purple side cord selvage fully intact for 95% of the rug less one small area of abrasion to the back. Remarkable original condition. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
