:: Oversized center medallion with simplistic outwardly directed floral cross-section atop a covered field of palmettes wrapped by a turtle samovar main border. Colors and shades include: Madder root red, navy blue, pink, blush, sand, dusty teal, powder blue, coffee brown, ivory, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Extensive restorations throughout in the spirit of the original carpet. Restorations in varying degrees of expertise, but most are expertly done. Remains in its original size, scale, and proportions. Awesome nuanced side cord selvages in polychromatic coloration matching interior shades. One or two small areas of minor staining. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Serapi carpet made in Persia circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 9'8" x 13'1".
