:: Sorry, this item has found a home! :: This is a finer 1930's hand knotted Persian Hamadan carpet with wool knotting and cotton foundation. An allover Herati motif with an amazing range of gorgeous colors. In this size with an allover design and absence of a medallion common to this motif makes this unique and wonderfully versatile piece to work with. The coloring of the rug is very pleasing to the eye with a bit of fade of its burnt orange/light red color + intricate tribal design playing on many other hues. Condition notes: there is even wear across with no exposed foundation, and just a couple of areas of isolated wear. The carpet was recently professionally washed for cleaning and luster, edges are fully hand bound, ends are overcast for long term securing + this is certainly a beautiful carpet ready for use for many, many years to come and would certainly be a great living room area rug or large open room rug! Measures 9'4" x 11'6".
