9x12 Vintage Distressed Joshegan Carpet

:: Diamond shaped center stepped medallion with outwardly directed quatrefoil serrated leaves atop a covered gardens of paradise four seasons stylized willow, plants, trees, shrubs, and blossoms. Wrapped by a wide banded main border with inner and outer reciprocating pawn minor borders. Colors and shades include: Dusty bubblegum pink, navy blue, cobalt blue, pale tangerine orange, dusty cherry red, powder blue, beige, sand, ivory, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One area of restoration to an outer border edge, approximately one foot by seven inches. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Joshegan carpet made in Persia circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 8'10" x 11'10".
