:: Oversize quatrefoil oriented main medallion atop a covered field of geometric vines, serrated leaves and minor blossoms stemming therefrom. Lots of unique weaver nuances, with a main border in a partial turtle samovar and arabesque floral rendering. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, navy blue, teal, mallard green, sapphire blue, gold, pale sunflower yellow, sand, pale dusty blush and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures 7'9" whereas the opposing measures 8'2". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz carpet made in Persia circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 8'2" x 11'5".
