This collection features vintage and antique hand-knotted rug runners defined by elongated proportions, with lengths measuring at least twice the width. Runner formats span a wide range of sizes and weaving traditions, unified by their long, narrow form.
Rug runners include compact hallway formats as well as longer gallery and kelleh-style examples, commonly ranging from approximately 2.5'x5' including rug runner sizes of 2'6" x 8', gallery and kelleh sizes of 5'x12' thru and exceeding 10'x20' and more.
