:: Allover covered field in a repeating Herati design motif depicting two serrated leaves and a central floral design element said to be symbolic of two fish in a never ending pursuit around the world. Main border in a classic Samovar turtle design motif with interior design motif mirroring the main field in larger scale and inverted coloration. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, rust, ivory, beige, terra cotta and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Some tatter to the ends, old signs of moth nibbles recessing the pile to the knot heads. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Tabriz carpet made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 11'11" x 18'4".
