2.5x3.5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Unidirectional tree of life design motif with simplistic geometric serrated flowers. Wrapped by multiple borders in checkered and meandering vine design motif. Colors and shades include: Oxidized silver, silver, platinum, raspberry red, pale cochineal aubergine, charcoal, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. An example of a sunned rug with oxidation deep to the roots of the pile, although vastly different than the shades compared to the reverse side. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 2'7" x 3'6".
