:: Unusual and perhaps rather early Caucasian Marsali rug. Lattice oriented design motif repeating in panels from top to bottom with blossoming floral arrangements therein. Rare border design in light blue with charcoal grey black background. Very finely woven although in rather rough current condition. Would be an extremely good candidate for restoration or perhaps light, gentle use as an accent throw or wall art hanging.. Showing heavy tatter, distress, splits, and small stain, ideal as wall hanging or for use in light traffic area. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Caucasian Marsali rug circa 1870's vintage. Exact size measures 3'10" x 5'8".
