:: Very thin and finely woven carpet featuring a central medallion in diamond shape contour with interior starburst floral design element wrapped by concentric shield like scalloped center medallion adorned at either end by minor finials atop a covered field of arabesques, floral cross sections and thin vinery interconnecting all with fluidity. Colors and shades include: Dusty blue, wine red, cherry red, antique ivory, beige, dusty rose, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Speckling of white knots foundation showing through normal for type and weave. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Kashan carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 8'10" x 12'1".
