1.5x2.5 Antique Peking Rug Mat

:: Unusual small open field Peking, possibly a sampler rug with main field absent of any design, a wide banded main border, and sprawling vinery and multi-petaled floral blossom corner motif. Colors and shades include: Beige, silver, dusty gold, cobalt blue, sky blue and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Secure sides, fully secured ends. Very unusual that the sidecord selvages are still intact for such a small rug. There is one small area of imperfection in one corner. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Chinese Peking rug mat made in China circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 1'7" x 2'5".
