1.5x2 Vintage Kerman Square Rug Mat

:: Very unusual small mid century Kerman rug with sprawling samovar outlines and trefoil scalloped inwardly directed planters covered by floral blossoms throughout, wrapped by a thin banded main border. While it appears to be of sampler scale, it is likely an unusual diminutive rug. Colors and shades include: Ivory, cochineal red, blush, powder blue and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Mostly secure sides and ends. Some light tatter to sides and corners. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Kerman square rug mat made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 1'6" x 2'2".
