Vintage Distressed Bakhtiari Carpet Product Description and Details

:: Oversize center medallion with concentric interior medallions in similar relief and starburst contour. Covered field of tone0-on-tone floral tendrils, vines and arabesques finished in minor buds and blossoms, with corner spandrel overlays loosely reciprocating the contour of the main medallion. Main border in a serpent like floral vine and lotus flower design rendering. Unique artistic liberties throughout. Colors and shades include: Pale coffee brown, dusty sky blue, dark sapphire blue, ivory, beige, chocolate brown, pale coral, denim blue and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Fully secured sides and ends. Machine bound sides. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Bakhtiari carpet made in Persia circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 10'2" x 12'1".
