Vintage Distressed Mir Sarouk Carpet Product Description and Details

:: Allover covered field of minor botehs with diminutive germinating plant design renderings in each seed, arranged in staggered rows in alternating direction wrapped by multiple thin banded borders including minor blossom and reciprocating pawn design motif. Colors and shades include: Slate, silver, oxidized silver, ivory and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Fully secured sides and ends. Machine bound sides. Approximately 2"x2" square of expert restoration located near the center of the carpet. One or two minor grayed surface stains. Folds and crease marks are due to compact storage and will release through use and enjoyment with a pad. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mir Sarouk carpet made in Persia circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 10'2" x 14'1".
