:: Covered allover field in floral leaves, blossoms, central bursting palmettes and buds across. Main border in a meandering dragon inspired design motif from Safavid era carpets bearing reciprocating contour and alternating design fills. Colors and shades include: Sandalwood, dusty rose, dusty blush, slate, ivory, sand, coffee brown and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mahal carpet made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 13'3" x 18'11".
