Print tear sheet:: What a stunning piece of art. An authentic engraving signed within the plate 'R.N.' likely by the artist Nodder for the naturalist writer George Shaw. In pencil, the work is titled Chestnut Jacona dated 1790. Superbly brilliant and vivid hand colored art. The mat is also quite old. Condition: In excellent condition considering age. Slight oxidation and a few small markings. Full size measures 10" x 13" and cropped, the dimensions would be 4" x 6.25".
