:: Sharply serrated dragon stylized floral design elements surrounding a single diamond shaped center medallion atop a field of serpent and boteh design elements. At one end of the rug are oversized guls in pomegranate stylized relief. Colors and shades include: Dark navy blue, terracotta, emerald green, indigo blue, copper, madder root red, rust, teal, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even pile height across. Mostly secure sides and ends. Minor oxidation to one quarter of the rug. Three or four small areas of minor moth etching pencil eraser size to the knot heads. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Afshar square rug mat made in Persia circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 2'4" x 2'7".
