:: Shield-like center medallion with outwardly sprawling serrated corner spandrel overlays reciprocate the contour of the main medallion in quarter-map design of the main medallion. Meandering vine and blossom main border in colorful fills. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, faded cochineal red, dusty slate blue, dusty lime green, dusty jade green, silver, oxidized silver, dusty saffron yellow, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple areas of scattered restorations to the pile. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 2'6" x 4'5".
