2.5x4.5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Stepped center medallion with elongated finials atop an abrashed ground. Corner spandrel and field overlays reciprocate the contour of the main medallion with seeded design elements therein. Main border in a simplistic meandering vine and blossom / arabesque design motif. Colors and shades include: Pale dusty blush, pale mint green, charcoal brown, ivory, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 2'5" x 4'8".
