:: Classic double Karaja medallions in sharp serrated palmette interior fills wrapped by a floral top view main border and inner and outer minor borders in a continuous interconnected boteh design motif. Primitive in design and weaving execution with all the nuances one would want to see. Definitely an earlier example of the type as a precursor of many twentieth century rugs to come. Phenomenal color saturation and shades. Colors and shades include: Brick red, mallard green, jade green, sapphire blue, ruby red, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides, mostly secure ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
