:: Super unique and unusual example of migratory Armenian weaving placed in Northwest Persia. Design is largely inspired by Karabagh weavings of the late 19th century, which is most easily recognizable by the geometric stylization of splayed roses. Rare and unusual charcoal ground with abrash to a dark black with hint of navy. Unusual asymmetric design motif with colorfills and accents in the sky blue, soft blush, light lime green, saffron yellow, gold, and burgundy red families. New side selvages. Overcast ends. Well worn distressed aesthetic to the center field. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted antique Persian Lilihan rug circa 1910's. Exact size measures 2'7" x 4'1".
