:: Triple center medallion atop a covered field of unidirectional germinating plants wrapped by a meandering vine inner, outer, and main borders. Colors and shades include: Dark navy, charcoal, copper, pale raspberry red, faded fuchsia, rust, chestnut, ivory, sapphire blue, cherry red, and more. Condition notes: Large areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Period correct painted carpet. Two localized areas of mends. Some of the wefting is wool. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mehriban rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 2'9" x 3'10".
